Job Opening at AHIExecutive/Administrative Assistant
The American Hellenic Institute (AHI) is seeking a full time Executive/Administrative Assistant. This position is suitable for a seasoned bilingual (English/Greek) individual who is personable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle and prioritize multiple tasks, and have a "can do" attitude. As Executive Assistant, you will be the right hand to the Executive Director giving you the opportunity to be exposed to all facets of the organization. The applicant must have excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational ability, knowledge of office procedures, a bachelor’s degree and strong computer skills and be proficient in Quicken (Accounting) MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Access. The applicant must also have the ability to work independently with limited supervision. Responsibilities will include word processing, correspondence, scheduling appointments, membership services, manage the AHI databases, bookkeeping, accounting and other routine office tasks. This position is full-time. Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience and qualifications.
